Hear words of delight from our Fellows!
“Precisely in April 2020, I got an acceptance letter into the BMGA Fellows Program. We were told it was going to be an intense program but nothing could have prepared me for the program’s intensity. It was very intense yet completely worth it because I had the opportunity to be lectured by professors from top universities worldwide. The curriculum was holistic and tailored to equip me for unprecedented career growth.”
“The BMGA Fellows Program has been an immersive experience and I am very grateful to be a beneficiary. I was in a period of transitioning from school to work life and the BMGA Fellows Program came just in time to launch me into this new phase of my life. I already had some experience in the corporate sphere through internships, and I have been able to identify some instances where I could have handled things better. Thus, I am going to be conscious about applying the gems from the program in my work, while striving for excellence.”
“I have never been prouder to be a woman than now. I am very proud of the role women have played in freeing our African countries. It is beautiful to know that my experience as a young woman in the workforce is not unique. To know that the challenges that I face have been experienced by other women as well. My cultural identity has been redefined and I am proud to be an African. The Champions of Africa’s History class demystified beliefs I held onto about my roles as an African woman. I now know that I do not have to compromise my femininity to be taken seriously.”
“My biggest takeaway from the program is the confidence boost that I have gotten. I used to have a habit of second-guessing myself. However, in one of the sessions we had with the Founder, she mentioned that we should do the thing that works 95% of the time and we’d succeed. I have applied this to a lot of things this year and have gotten this far. I am therefore glad that I am able to embrace that a bit more.”
“The program was challenging and super intense, yet worth every second of my time. The intensity of the program has helped me to build some healthy habits. Also, I am better prepared for the global work environment due to its rich, well-tailored and organized curriculum. Learning from top leaders and experts across relevant sectors was one of my major highlights.
Frequent interaction with other ladies across various cultures and countries has made me more culturally and globally aware. This program exceeded my expectations, and I am so proud to be a Fellow.”

The BMGA Fellows Program has been designed in a way that holistically transforms
each participant into a globally competitive professional.
Once selected, participants go through an intensive learning experience that utilizes modern technological tools and resources to aid transformational learning. The program consists of capacity-building courses led by industry experts and professors from top universities across the world.
With the use of live classes, TED talks, case studies, and other learning tools, participants are able to gain new insights into the skills required for the future of work. During the program, participants also actively engage in peer-to-peer mentoring with graduate students in top universities across the world.
Afterwards, BMGA Fellows are inducted into an active Alumni network and attend periodic meet-ups to discuss pertinent issues within their industries. Fellows who show outstanding commitment to the program would also have the opportunity to receive post-program coaching from senior-level professionals.
According to a recent survey of BMGA Fellows, 95.5% of Fellows have improved relationships with their coworkers, and conformed to higher professional standards than before the program. Emotional Intelligence and Business Etiquette were also highlighted by 92.86% of the Fellows as the top two competencies in the business world which they learnt from the program.
Most significantly, the program has helped the Fellows to gain a network of individuals who have a global mindset and are willing to support one another to impact the world.
They have also developed self-confidence, critical thinking, problem-solving, communication skills, among others. Through discussions that address issues such as business ethics, women in leadership roles, entrepreneurship, colorism, gender-based violence in the workplace, and cross-cultural work contexts, Fellows have become better equipped for the global work environment.
The program offers high-level professional development courses, mentorship from graduates of top global universities, coaching from executives with international careers, and life skills that are designed to prepare young women for a career in the 21st Century.
As a Fellow, you will join the alumni network of BMGA Fellows, who are residing in over ten (10) countries across the world, which will provide you with a wide range of opportunities from professional mentorships to programs specifically tailored towards career development.
The BMGA Fellows Program is an entirely virtual learning experience.
The BMGA Fellows Program runs through a period of six months.
